Join our local Election Protection efforts. Volunteers are needed to help turn out the vote and watch for interference outside polling places. We are coordinating with election officials and other groups, and we only deploy in teams – no one works alone. Have you ever considered bringing a friend to an action but felt unsure how to get them involved? Or wanted to table with us but felt nervous about what to say? Our Outreach Team is hosting a training this Sunday 8/2 at 1pm to give you the tools you need to move people from conversation to action. Whether it is for election protection, rapid response, or any swift mobilization, we need to grow and recruit more volunteers into this important work.
You asked, and we are answering! Members expressed interest in local Data Center actions. The Lake County Data Center Opposition Coalition (LCDCOC) is presenting an Educational Forum on Wednesday August 5 from 5-8 at CLC’s Grayslake Campus. Click here for ticketsand help spread the word!
