WHERE: Annunciation of Our Lady – Episcopal Church

MERRY RESISTMAS, FRIENDS!
Come, bring the family, hang out with Santa, enjoy cookies and cocoa, and sing Resistmas Carols! Everyone that brings a bag of non-perishable food items will receive a raffle ticket for fun and festive items!
In addition to helping stock food banks across Lake County, this event is a great opportunity to socialize among like-minded community members.
Let’s show the world this holiday season what real democracy looks like when we gather in support of one another – in the spirit of giving and sharing, we very much look forward to seeing you and accepting your donations and non-perishable items, such as:
- Canned proteins (tuna, chicken, beans)
- Whole grains, rice, lentils, beans and pastas
- Low-sodium soups/stews and shelf-stable canned vegetables
- Nut butters
- shelf-stable milk/alternatives
- Cooking staples (oil, spices)
- Paper products – paper towels and toilet paper
If you cannot join the fun in person, consider donating to Indivisible NE Lake County Fundraiser!’s fundraising page for Northern Illinois Food Bank, which specifically supports Lake County food pantries.
We are grateful to the many organizations who are making this food drive successful.
With your help, we will collect truckloads of food for our neighbors to show Lake County that we care!
