When Trump held a parade in celebration of his own birthday in Washington DC America turned out with counter-protests across the country to declare with one voice that “America Has No Kings!” NELC Indivisible along with our community partners; Indivisible Western Lake County (IWLC) and Lake County Democrats showed up in force turning out 3,500 peaceful protestors for the first No Kings event. We gathered at the intersection of Grand and Hunt Club in Gurnee for a honk and wave event with great signs, comradery, chants and laughter!
